Inside the Reeds Industries manufacturing facility
Our Story

Twelve years.
One standard.

How a single workshop in Spintex became one of Ghana's most trusted joinery, cabinetry and interior solutions companies — without ever lowering the bar.

Chapter I — The Beginning

It started with a single workbench.

In 2012, Reeds Industries opened its doors as a modest joinery workshop in Accra's Spintex Industrial Area. A handful of craftsmen, a few hand tools, and one stubborn conviction: that Ghana deserved interiors built to a world-class standard — designed, manufactured and installed locally, without compromise.

Our first projects were private residences. Kitchens. Wardrobes. Doors. Each piece sanded by hand, finished by lamplight, and delivered personally. The work was slow. The standard was non-negotiable.

We didn't set out to be the biggest joinery in Ghana. We set out to be the one architects could trust with a drawing and a deadline.

Chapter II — The Investment

Then we brought the factory to the craft.

By 2017, demand had outgrown the workbench. Architects were specifying us. Developers were calling. Hotels were briefing us on full fit-outs. To answer them, we made a decision that reshaped the company: we invested in industrial-scale machinery without letting go of the hand-finished standard that built our name.

Today our 15,000 sq ft facility runs CNC routers, edge banders, panel saws, spray booths and dust-extraction systems alongside the original benches. Machines deliver the sub-millimetre repeatability that architects demand. Hands deliver the soul.

Chapter III — The Partnership

The drawing board became a meeting room.

Reeds is not a furniture shop you order from — we are a manufacturing partner you design with. Architects and interior designers sit with our team at the start of a project, not the end. We review shop drawings, prototype joinery details, prepare material samples and rehearse installations before a single panel is cut.

That partnership is why most of our work comes from repeat clients and direct referrals across Accra, Kumasi, Takoradi and beyond. We deliver on the promise the drawing made.

Chapter IV — Today

Design. Manufacture. Install.

Reeds Industries Limited is now one of Ghana's leading joinery, cabinetry, furniture manufacturing and interior solutions companies. A 45-person team — master carpenters, CNC operators, designers, project managers and installers — produces 700+ doors a month and has delivered 350+ projects across residential, hospitality, healthcare, corporate and educational sectors.

Every cabinet, every door, every fitted interior still leaves our factory the same way the first one did: inspected by hand, signed off in person, and installed by the people who built it.
